When we settles for any kind of life defined by the limits of our studies, family, jobs and relationships, we miss God’s reason for redeeming us and positioning us here on earth. In other words, we miss our kingdom calling.

A divine calling is always intended to bring about God’s glory—to fulfill His kingdom agenda. Therefore, to follow your calling is to live in such a way that God’s kingdom is put on display for all to see (Matthew 5:14-16).

A group of youth, 18 to 25 years of age from Seeta Miracle Centre (Arthur Otim Ministries) is set to hold a music concert labelled “Let it be known,” which they say is intended to bring people to have an encounter with God.

D-vinez Music Band runs on the principle that “we are doing it for God and we need to transform lives.”

The group has told Christian media brand, UG Gospel Life that their vision involves having major branches for their projects in East Africa, and they hope to start up a music school.

Mr Benjamin Mitala, the team leader of D-vinez Music Band says he personally feel like there is a divine purpose to bring youth together through music and change their lives.

“The name D-vinez is coined from the fact that we have a divine calling. We do Gospel music basically. We are inspired by Israel Houghton, Joel Houston of Hillsong, Chris Tomlin, and then bands like Elevation Worship, Planet Shakers.” Mr Benjamin Mitala says.

“We have had a couple of events at Seeta Miracle Center, one at Uganda Christian University (UCU) in Mukono… For this one, the UCU Nkoyooyo Hall was full to capacity and many people were standing outside to attend the event.” He adds

“Let it be known” concert will include popular gospel music group, G Way and rapper Lyrical Mycheal.

“We will perform our own music. We have original jazz pieces that we will perform. We want to do something in the event that stands out.”

“…We want to give people something they have not experienced anywhere. We are coming from the basis of this being an encounter. We want people to have an encounter with God.”  Mr Benjamin Mitala continues to emphasize.

Mitala says this Sunday, 9th July 2017 concert starts 4pm at Seeta Miracle Centre, Seeta, Mukono, Uganda

Entrance is Ush 10,000 for students, Ush 20,000 for ordinary tickets and Ush 50,000 for VIP.
