It happens that one may lose motivation and commitment when he/she thinks that God does not love or hear them. Fear of disappointment and failure to hit the mark holds many people back as they believe their commitment to God will either way never be rewarded.
Visiting Pastor from Zimbabwe, Tavonga Vutabwashe used his sermon at Miracle Centre Cathedral Rubaga- on Saturday to teach that one can’t lose by being committed to God.
Regardless of the negative forces in life, he said each believer should respond to God’s call by committing their heart, mind, body, and life to serve Him, for greater rewards await.
You cannot worship the Lord in vain, he said, quoting Isaiah 45:19 which says; I have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness; I have not said to Jacob’s descendants, ‘Seek me in vain.’ I, the LORD, speak the truth; I declare what is right.
Pr Vutabwashe said Christians cannot move with the presence of God and remain a mockery all their life.
“There are so many people and demons gathered for the sole purpose of sabotaging your dream and killing your vision. Many have come together to simply slow your potential and speed… But you are going to fly higher.
“No matter how much they fight you, they will never prevail. No matter how many gather against you, get ready for a shocking miracle in your life.
“You cannot come in the presence of the Lord and . From today, your commitment shall be rewarded. Your obedience shall be rewarded. Your seed shall speak for you.
“Now I know why they are fighting you. They don’t want you to become a nation – which means you are not an individual. You carry a nation-capacity. There is too much power, glory, energy in you. I announce to the devil; This generation you will not spoil it, stop it.
“You are about to complete a year, daily coming to Church. Which of your grandfather committed a year going to church everyday? if you have managed to commit coming to church, the devil cannot stop your healing, marriage. You cannot labor for a year and become poor. You cannot minister and restore marriage and become poor.” Pr Vutabwashe, a father of three (3) said.
He then quoted Isaiah 60:22 saying; A little one shall become a thousand and a small one a strong nation. You are becoming what you are supposed to be in the name of Jesus.
