Worship Harvest ministries has for years sustained her commitment to resourcing people in worshiping God and serving others meaningfully for community transformation. In other words, the ministry exists to help people receive the love of God and then share it with others in the most relevant ways.
The church (body of Christ) is being equipped to equip others spiritually, relationally, physically, intellectually and economically to be the best expression of heaven they can be to their families, neighborhoods, communities and cities.
Worship Harvest believes that, “church begins on Monday and Sunday is garage time,” furthermore, “Ministry is a conduit of the heavenly reality (the Kingdom) to the natural,”
Worship Harvest envisions a future where she will be able to carry out this purpose in one thousand locations. However currently, worship happens at five different locations namely, Kati- Kati bar & Restaurant, Lotus in Entebbe, Travel Hotel in Jinja, Kasangati Recreation center in Gayaza and the main church building in Naalya.
In order to fulfill their purpose, Worship Harvest does three main things: Celebrating Christ in worship, connecting with one another in fellowship and Serving the world around them in mission.
Construction is still ongoing at Naalya however; one cannot doubt the excellent hand of God manifest as they motivate and equip both young and old with biblical armory to progress.
In what they have described as a week-long party , celebrations began on Monday and run through Wednesday with over 26 Missional community parties at various locations to Friday with a massive 10years-10Artistes concert that will feature the elite of Uganda’s gospel industry.
The 10years-10Artistes concert will kick off tomorrow [1st April, 2016] followed by a glamorous dinner and book launch on 2nd April, 2016. Worship Harvest will then have one mega joint service at Naalya on 3rd April, 2016.
Artists expected to grace the concert include; Ruyonga, Hum Kay, The Collective UG, Moses Mukisa, Sanyu, Solome Basuuta, Lynnet Nsubuga, By*Manzi, Joe Kahiri and the Worship Harvest Music Team.
The once tiny seed is now a tree, with roots strong enough to support its supernaturally accelerated growth.
“Ten years ago, a few passionate but ignorant, untrained, unqualified, un-credential, and any other un-you-can-think-of young people set out to plant a church, having been a music ministry for five years before that,” affirmed the administration of Worship Harvest to our reporter. “Ten years later, we look on this amazement at what God can do with the willing. Join us as we celebrate God’s goodness and faithfulness,”
