ASP Luke Owoyesigyire the deputy Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson says officials in Wandegeya are investigating a sudden death that occurred on February 8th, 2023 at the Christian Life Church in the Kigundu zone of Makerere III Parish.
Mr Owoyesigyire stated that the deceased, Najjuma Rossete, aged 59 and a resident of Kisoga in Mukono District, had been receiving treatment at Mulago Hospital for the past three years.
“Despite undergoing various tests, no disease was diagnosed. As a result, she was brought to the church. It is reported that she passed away at approximately 4:00 PM during prayer service,” he told media on Thursday.
The remains of the deceased were taken to the city mortuary in Mulago for further investigation to determine the cause of death, according to ASP Luke Owoyesigyire.
