Larry Wright is a pastor in Fayetteville, North Carolina, that was giving a sermon to his congregation about all the killings that have been taking place this New Year’s Eve.
That’s when a man that appeared to be in his 20’s walked in with a semi-automatic rifle and an ammo magazine.
The man confessed to the congregation that his initial plans for that day was to set out to do something terrible, but he had an urge to go to the church to seek forgiveness.
The pastor then took the weapon from him, calmed him down, and asked the congregation to follow him in prayer as they all prayed for the troubled man.
