Popular Ugandan musician David Lutalo gave up every other appointment he had on 31st December, 2019 so as to usher in the new year 2020 at Mandela National Stadium where born-again believers from all walks of life gathered for prayers.
This is something he has done on several occasions, however last night he had ‘an encounter.’
One of the speakers, Apostle Charles Tumwine of New Life Harvest Church International released what he described as a prophetic word upon the 30-year-old.
Ap Tumwine’s prophecy upon Lutalo included attending bible college and also associating with popular music group Hillsong New York, which is part of Hillsong Church based in Australia.
Once a victim of poisoning, David Lutalo received every prophetic word with eagerness, before getting down on his knees.
He later raised his hands, and continuously shook his head up and down, indicating agreement towards every prophetic utterance.
“God has preserved you for all these years for a reason and a purpose,” Apostle Charles Tumwine told David Lutalo.
“His gifting and uniqueness upon your life is meant to be for the household of God.” Apostle Charles Tumwine continued. “You are a man who has hustled and went through what you have gone through, and have not caused trouble, we have been following you. You have trusted your God.”
“This could be a turning point and turn around for your life. You have been coming and attending meetings, but tonight, we see grace upon your life. Your life is in the hands of God. The nations are at your disposal, this grace is for the household of God. Of-course the secular [industry] has the resources, they have the money. The Church looks like it does not have the resources, but seed as been planted in your life. Tonight you have had an encounter,” Apostle Charles Tumwine told Lutalo.
“The next time you see me, you will say, ‘man of God, now I know there are prophets in Uganda. I cannot imagine how far God has taken me’. Lutalo, the Lord will use you in your family, the Lord will use you to cause a testimony even among people that do not honor God. There was a time you survived poisoning, because the hand of God is upon your life. David Lutalo, your children will be taught by God. You will rub shoulders with the greatest men and women who have sang gospel songs of all time,” he continued.
“I have seen the nation of Norway opening up for you. For six months you shall be in Norway, and as you fly from Norway to Entebbe, you will speak another language. You will say, when I went to Norway, I enrolled to bible collage. It is in one of the Churches that you will visit in Norway, that you shall meet one of the members of the Hillsong, who will introduce you to New York city. That will be the turning point of your life. Because you have kept coming, like the shunammite woman who said let us build as house for this man, let it be known to the devil and to the people, that as seed of greatness as been planted in the life of David Lutalo. I introduce you as a minister of the gospel of the kingdom of God,” he concluded.
