American gospel musician Travis Greene, popularly known for such songs that include ‘Intentional’, ‘Made a way’ has been nominated for a whooping nine Stellar Gospel Music Awards this year.
The 32-year-old took it to social media thanking his fans who voted.
“God continues to amaze me. I am incredibly humbled to have been Officially nominated for a whopping nine Stellars Awards this year. See you in Vegas on March 25th, family – thank you to everyone who voted and to all of my supporters!” He wrote.
He was nominated in categories; Song of the year, Male Vocalist of the year, CD of the year, Producer of the year, Contemporary male vocalist of the year, contemporary CD of the year. Music video of the year, Recorded music packaging of the year, Praise and Worship CD of the year.
For close to 30 years now, the Stellar Awards have become the premier Gospel event that recognizes and honors African American artists. This one of a kind award show has showcased top Gospel artists and many television and film stars.
Travis Greene began his music career just recently in 2007 with the release of The More via Greenelight Records. His music has charted on the Billboard magazine Top Gospel Albums and the Top Gospel Songs charts.
Elsewhere to USA president-elect swearing-in, while the singer has not been officially announced as an inauguration performer by Donald Trump’s team, he took it upon himself to tell his fans via Instagram video that he will perform at the inaugural ball this week.
Greene joins a list of already-announced performers, including 3 Doors Down, Toby Keith, The Piano Guys, Lee Greenwood, Tim Wishlow and Sam & Dave’s Sam Moore..
