Top names in Christian music, media have appeared on the Uganda Entertainment Awards Nominee list
The nominees were announced yesterday, and what was shocking yet exciting at the same time is that the list comprised of 45 categories, counting from 41 in 2015.
Though they are mounting from initial stages of organizing for the awards, the organizers have already expressed intentions to have them much better.
For our very own, all nominees in their respective categories are curiosity building, given the fact that they the industry’s ultimate spot light.
Nominees for the Best Gospel Artiste category 2016, in no particular order are Julie Mutesasira, Wilson Bugembe, Levixone, Exodus.
If we should note, Exodus, Levixone, Pastor Wilson Bugembe and Julie Mutesasira were the same artists nominated under the same category of Best Gospel artiste last year, 2015.
Back to Hip Hop, the management clarified that the nominees to this category will be revealed on on 19th July 2016.
“Just to clear the air the management and nomination committee will be releasing the HIP HOP CATEGORY Nominees on 19th July 2016. Just like in 2015 we decided to release these nominees a month to the event exceptionally,” the management stated
They further stated that the sms voting lines are open, to vote: UEA<space> category Number <space> Nominee and send to 8338.

Best Audio Producer – Nessim, Nash Wonder, Producer Ronnie, Best Touch, D-King
Best Gospel artiste – Exodus, Levixone, Pastor Wilson Bugembe and Julie Mutesasira
Best TV Station – NTV, Bukedde TV, Urban TV, Channel 44
Best Radio Station – Galaxy FM, CBC FM, Power FM, Capital FM, Sanyu FM
Best Female Entertainment TV Presenter – Flavia Namulindwa, Justine Nantume, Malaika NNyanzi and Lady Beezo of Spirit FM 96.6.
