Deliverance Church Uganda has launched a Business Conference that will run from the 4th to 8th August 2016.
The issue of managing all of our gifts, including our finances, is of great importance to God. You may be thinking: How can we possibly do that when we are already struggling to make ends meet?
Deliverance Church Uganda will through the Business Conference show case and receive testimonies of Christians who have excelled in the area of business without compromising their Christian values and standards.
From a press statement to UG Christian News, the Church hosted Dr. Shingi Munyeza in a two day business conference last year that was aimed at spurring members of the Church called to the sphere of business.
He will be back this year. Dr Shingi Albert Munyeza is a Zimbabwean businessman. He is not only an academic and high ranking business personality but also the senior pastor at Faith Ministries in Harare.
In 2008, he became the Chief Executive Office of African Sun Limited (ASL) a hospitality company in sub-Saharan Africa and Africa in general.
Munyeza has received several awards including the prestigious Zimbabwe Tourism Personality of the Year for three consecutive years.
DC has also announced that the Executive Director of Uganda Small Scale Industries Association John Kakungulu Walugembe, Lilian Kasito, a professional accountant and entrepreneur, also the director of Zaddock Associates, a leading publisher in Uganda will be among the key note speakers.
Director of banking at bank of Uganda John Chemonges will also speak at the conference.
The Conference is targeting 200 Christian business men and women (both members of Deliverance Church as well as those from other congregations) actively involved in business and marketplace ministry.
Conference Registration
Conference participation will be tracked through registration, which registration will be used for building a database for the business fellowship for purposes of further networking. The Conference fee is UGX 20,000 for the whole conference or UGX 15,000 per day. Registration shall be done by submitting completed Registration Forms which will be availed at the venue.
