Levixone has been announced as Uganda’s “hottest gospel artist” at the 12th edition of the annual Buzz Teeniez Awards which happened today, May 12 at UMA show ground in Kampala.

The awards gala attracted hundreds of teenagers from all across the country; most of them holiday makers that had come to witness the results of their votes.

In his acceptance speech, Levixone commended the youth for loving and supporting gospel music.

“Thank you for loving Gospel music. It’s full of life. I am dedicating this award to all Gospel artists and my little bro Mark Elvis (RIP),” said Levixone.

Buzz Teeniez Awards started in 2007, and seek to offer teenagers as opportunity to honor the biggest achievers in television, music, gospel, Dee Jays, movies, Sports, Radio and more.

The “Turn the replay” hit singer was earlier nominated in this category with gospel stars, Exodus, Baby Gloria and Pr Wilson Bugembe.

This year has seen Levixone release a number of high quality videos unlike any he has ever released before – one of which,  ‘Hosannah’, was shot in Ireland, during the ‘Storytellers’ our by Fields of life, a Christian Charity where he is ambassador.

‘Turn the replay’ which was shot by J Blessing, a Kenyan leading TV producer, music video director, cinematographer and founder of Link Video Global has over 18,700 views since its release 2 months ago.

In 2016, Levixone was accorded the same award, and in 2017 it went to Exodus.

Notably, this achievement comes at a time Levixone is celebrating two nominations for the African Gospel Music and Media Awards (AGMMA) based in London, United Kingdom.
