Bishop Dr LaDonna Osborn, the only daughter of T. L Osborn (RIP), an American Pentecostal evangelist, singer, author and teacher who was known for mass-miracle ministry to millions, has landed in Kampala today, Friday, 3rd March 2017.
LaDonna will be a guest speaker at a crusade hosted by Pr Dr Margaret Musunga on Saturday at the KCCA grounds, Lugogo.
“She is here to preach. Tomorrow she will be praying for Pastors and the entire body of Christ. She is here to impart a generational anointing. She carries the legacy of her mother and father, T.L Osborn.” Dr Margaret told UG Christian New on Friday.
Adding: “Above praying for all the Pastors and ministers, she is going to launch the Christian Women’s International Conference and Crusade that will be held annually in Uganda. It has been here before, we stopped it and now we are doing phase two. Her mother started it, so we are launching it again.”
Dr Margaret is the Director and President of International Christian Women, a ministry located along Entebbe road.
She says tomorrow’s crusade will run from 9am-10pm, free entrance to the venue.
“Pastor Margaret Musungu along with many of her women leaders. This organisation sprang from my mother’s dynamic ministry in Uganda in the 1980s and 1990s. Uganda is a changed nation from the time of the historic T. L. & Daisy Osborn Crusade at Lugogo field. (see Osborn.org and “The Message that Works” book) Tomorrow there is an all-day celebration and evangelism event here in Kampala where I am the guest speaker.” Osborn’s daughter commented Friday on arrival at the Entebbe International airport.
About T. L Osborn
T. L Osborn died February 14, 2013, Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States
He visited Uganda and held miracle crusades in 1961, 1985 and 1991 at which many got saved, delivered and inspired to join ministry.
At the February 1985 crusade at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Osborn stunned everyone by removing a gown he had worn for 35 years and putting it on his interpreter, Ps Robert Kayanja, saying go and preach the gospel.
Opening up about the preacher’s legacy to journalists, Pr Kayanja said, “I believe hell would be here on earth if Dr T.L Osborn was not born and anointed,”
He was also the first missionary evangelist to attend open fields or parks, in non-Christian nations, to proclaim Christ and to pray for miracles as proof that “He is Alive.”
As reported, so powerful were Osborn’s missions that many parents named their children after the evangelist.
