Swedish nationals braved the rains to move door to door in Bikele, Kitintale, a suburb of Kampala so as pray in streets and share the gospel with residents in the area.
The group was part of ‘love Encounter’ crusade fronted by City Church Kampala.
They kicked off with fasting and team building sessions, after which the Church lead pastor, Mr Bezudde Wilberforce led his team to the community with not only the gospel, but supplies for the residents.
Lasting 7 days starting the 25th of February, on days they encountered the rain, the group was not intimidated to change course, but moved on till it stopped, providing a clear view of the community’s skyscrapers and the lush green vegetation beyond.
Dennis Stocker, one of the Swedish nationals attending the ‘Love encounter’ for the 4th time said both City Church Kampala and Love encounter crusade build resourceful programs that cultivate growing in Church.
“I’m expecting to see more of what God is doing,” he said.
Josef Erlandsson, another Swedish national who was attending the crusade and visiting Uganda for the first time said; I want to be here to see people meet the love of Jesus Christ for the first time, and be baptized in the Holy Spirit. To see them loved and honored – and come to faith.”
“After a heavy downpour , God moved, transformed and blessed his people immensely at the crusade,” the church remarked.
