TESTIMONY – A survivor of the cruise boat which capsized on Lake Victoria in November, killing at least 33 people, has dedicated his life to Jesus Christ.
Arnold Simbwa on Sunday visited Victory Christian Centre – Ndeeba, where Dr Joseph Serwadda is lead Pastor, and thanked God for giving him another chance to live.
While addressing media after the tragedy, deputy spokesman for police Patrick Onyango, said the vessel, an MV Templar brought into the country in early 2007 to act as fishing vessels by a Chinese businessman, had encountered rough conditions at the time of the accident, and was carrying more than twice its capacity of 50.
