Stay at peace – Apostle Grace Lubega

Apostle shares encouragement amid coronavirus chaos.

The coronavirus outbreak across the globe is leading to shutdowns from airports to primary schools and universities to football stadiums, and even church services. But Phaneero Ministries International founder Apostle Grace Lubega is encouraging believers to not react in fear.

The Apostle’s words have never been more timely as there are more than 328,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus worldwide and Europe is now at the epicentre of the crisis, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

During an online service on March 19, Apostle Lubega used his sermon to encourage believers to run the race of faith with endurance and remember that “the healing power of God is available to heal those that have been afflicted.”

“As believers, we must have peace, we must stay calm when the whole world is in a panic mode,” Apostle Grace Lubega said.

“We fear God and not disease,” he added. “We also believe that in this period and hour, the healing power of God is available to heal those that have been afflicted. And I believe that for the Church, His spirit is going to come up more than ever before to offer solutions and answers for what is happening.”

The rise in number of confirmed coronavirus cases internationally led the WHO to declare the spread of coronavirus a global pandemic. The organisation also said it took more than three months for the virus to infiltrate the first 100,000 people worldwide, but only 12 days to reach the next 100,000.

Uganda registered her first coronavirus case on Saturday, which prompted the Head of state H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to come up with tighter measures in order to contain its spread.

“A small virus has paralyzed nations, frustrated systems and economies. Countries are on lock down because humanity must be saved from this virus,” Apostle Grace Lubega said. “The Lord spoke to us while [ushering in] 2020, concerning this period of time that we are in, and things that were going to come. And I remember God instructing us to pray.”

“As a believer, you are supposed to show the example that God has got this covered,” he added. “I believe that the answer is with us, the body of Christ. Our God heals anything. Acts 10:38 says, ‘how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.'”

He later quoted Isaiah 26:3 which says, ‘Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.’

“I believe right now, as churches are praying all across the world, we are going to hear supernatural healing in Jesus mighty name,” he explained.

Apostle Grace Lubega thanked God for the “power of media”, adding that Christian leaders are using online platforms to do “what must be done.”

The Word is not in chains, he urged.
