Popular gospel musician and song writer Sinach has dedicated her daughter to the Lord during a Church service at Christ Embassy, also known as LoveWorld Incorporated in Nigeria.
Sinach gave birth in November at 46 years of age, five years after getting married to Pastor Joseph Egbu.
In the caption that accompanied her Instagram post about the dedication, Sinach noted that the feeling of “happiness can sometimes overflow and one can only be grateful and filled with gratitude to the Lord.”
“Our baby was dedicated to Jesus Christ,” her husband Joseph who is also a Pastor posted on Instagram.
Fans flooded their comment section with congratulatory messages. The singer also thanked close friends and family members that joined them at the church dedication ceremony.
Child dedication is a treasured moment in which parents make a public declaration of faith to raise their child in the ways of the Lord as established in the Bible.
According to theologians, not only does a public profession match with Scripture but whenever something is publicly announced, accountability comes along with it.
