Pastor Michael Muwonge of Glory Ministries International has passed on.
His daughter, Raven Esther Muwonge took to social media on Wednesday to announce his passing. In the emotional post, Esther did not detail much about what caused his death, neither were our efforts to reach the ministry sucessful by press time.
“The pain is incredibly and immensely killing me. I am not sad but rather happy that I got to share the best moments of life with you. Daddy you have been a friend, a great inspiration to us. An amazing source of hope and joy.
“Your life has been a reason for us to smile. You’ve connected worlds together. I salute you but there is an emptiness am afraid I Will feel,” Esther said.
In his eulogy for the deceased shared on his social media account, Pr John Bunjo said, “I can’t believe what I heard, the nation and the church will miss your calling and smile, you went too soon,”
“We grew up together! I have seen you sacrifice to raise many into their destiny,” Pastor Bweyinda David mourned.
I’m told he slipped and fell in the birth room, gospel singer and producer, Sami-K said.
Dr Serwadda’s Dream TV and Kingdom TV, which is owned by Christian Focus Centre Church where Pr David Livingstone Kiganda is lead pastor, attribute Pastor Michael Muwonge’s death to a same cause.
The deceased was catering for about 70 children under the Glory Children’s City, an orphanage under Glory Ministries International – Katwe.
The Children are also part of a one California-based SIFA African Children’s Choir, who sing, dance and tour the U.S. to raise money for the Glory Children City Project in Masaka. The orphanage has seven small houses. Each will have a house mother or father living with the children.
