Nigerian music producer, singer-songwriter Florocka has described his new spirit-filled worship song with Ugandan musical powerhouse Sandra Suubi as a ‘prayer of intercession.’
The duo recently took to social media to announce the release of their new single ‘Revive Us’ that pleads for a new awakening, an outpouring of God’s Spirit upon nations.
“As we pray, Holy Spirit move… do what you want to do… revive us, restore us,” so goes the slow tempo song already receiving massive air play on various stations in the country.
Florocka revealed that he holds the new song dear to his heart, and that it was birthed after prayer: “Trust me when I say that this worship anthem will bless your soul,” he tweeted.
“The song is a simple prayer of revival,” he added.
In remarks relevant to the new release hinged on total submission to God’s spirit for revival, Florocka says, “he who ‘serves’ God is not he who works in church, attends all night vigils and gets to church first; He who serves God is he who ‘yields’ to every instruction to God. He is one who does not makes excuses when God calls him forth.”
As an award winning musician, Sandra Suubi continues her brand of passionate and experiential worship with this new single. In 2019, she released her two singles Faya and Musalaba with Faya topping the charts in Uganda.
