The 2015 Airtel trace music competition finalist from Uganda Sandra Suubi has poured her heart into “Nsiimye”, her latest single.
The song has since its release this week received positive attention from listeners, many of whom admit to relating with the message Sandra is singing about.
The 25-year-old says that “Nsiimye,” (a luganda word to literally mean I’m grateful) comes off her upcoming album “Anthems of Life”, and it has been written by gospel sensation Brian Lubega and produced by Sam Bisaso.
She took it to media saying that this new song is a reflection of her childhood, intended to thank God and dedicate her career to Him.
“To kick off my singing career I decided to dedicate this first song off my album to God,” She says.
She has released several songs recently that include ‘Togwamu Suubi’, a collaboration with Benezeri that was endorsed by experts for nomination to the Uganda HipHop awards 2016.
Sandra’s song reminds us of how important it is to open up to God and appreciate Him for what he has done and where He has brought us from.
Think of it: Always giving thanks for everything—no matter the circumstances! Thanksgiving for the Apostle Paul was not a once-a-year celebration, but a daily reality that changed his life and made him a joyful person in every situation.
