Run the race to finish – Dr Wilson Kulaba

God wants us to put our faith and confidence in Him, all the time, in everything.

Dr. Wilson Evans Kulaba, the Senior Pastor and Founder of Jubilee Christian Life Church International has urged that no matter the season in life – Christians must learn to fully have complete trust and faith in God.

His remarks come in light when many wrestle with doubt and questions, wondering if God hears or if He is even real.

According to Dr Kulaba, one’s testimony will always speak through every circumstance that they may face in life: “If God did it once, He can do it again!”

“That’s why the Bible says, ‘And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.’ Nothing can kill your testimony,” the preacher said on Wednesday.

“If you rely on God, you can never be forsaken, if you rely on God, you cannot be defeated. I’ve seen continuity. I’ve seen Him as my provider. I’ve seen Him as my healer. I have seen him as my deliverer. Every time I have a need, He shows up as God and He helps me out,” he added.

Dr Kulaba explained that faith decreases when we look around us at the prevailing circumstances, not up to God and His purpose for our lives.

“Keep walking. Don’t be stopped. You have faith and it will drive you! Get up every morning. Get up every day, tell yourself I’m gonna be better. I’m going to succeed. I’m going to change my generation. I’m going to be different. I’m going to increase. I’m going to preach the gospel. I’m going to sing a new song. Faith moves you.”

He urged that replenishing faith is a two-pronged paradox that we must come into terms with: While we have a personal responsibility of building our own faith, there’s also an aspect to faith-building that only God can do for us.

He quoted Ephesians 2:8 which says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.”

He also quoted Psalm 27:13, ‘I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.’

The other was Romans 1:17 which says (in part), ‘The righteous shall live by faith,’ and Isaiah 40:31, ‘But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.’

“Sometimes you get discouraged and think things are not going [well]. Maybe you’re going to stop, child of God forget about that. All you need to do is to ask God to increase your faith because the moment your faith is increased, you will have continuity,” he said.

“Faith continues our legacy. Even when you are gone, because you are a man and a woman of faith, your legacy continues. Your impact continues. David said I was young but now I’m old, I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken, nor their children begging bread,” he said.

“Faith will always find a way of making a circumstance work in your favor. That’s what happened to Joseph. His brothers sold him, rejected him. He had totally gone off the map of the family. But he went on because he understood faith,” he said.
