Gospel music ministers Robinsan and Exodus have through social media advised Pastors to become peacemakers by privately dealing with conflict among fellows without painting it in public.
This request was first by Robinsan, then Exodus, born George Lubega.
Robinsan said Pastoral battles staged before the public are misleading and bring about confusion among the sheep.
His request however received mixed reaction from fans, which led Exodus into the discussion.
“Unless someone didn’t read his message clearly [Robinsan]. But what he’s asking of our leaders is very noble and of late it’s like a battle going on publicly. I don’t think that’s the way of our Lord Jesus Christ. And Robinsan has simply suggested if there be an issue our leaders, discuss [it personally] and privately because the fights are misleading many and blocking the doors for opportunity to win souls.” Exodus said.
He urged that no one wants to join a “divided entity”.
Earlier this week, popular main stream broadcaster NTV Uganda uncovered its investigations into several well-known city preachers.
The findings, according to the station were intended to, “expose men who use the hallowed platforms in church to steal from the poor under the guise of performing miracles.
It is here that among other preachers, Pr Solomon Male criticized Pr Samuel Kakande.
“My experience with them, Kakande and his wife, this is what I saw, faking up of miracles, paying people to pretend to be demon possessed, sick. The actual sick would come and go away unhealed. I saw and per-took of many tricks of extortion.” He said.
Speaking to UG Christian News over this report on Tuesday, Dominion Temple founding Pastor Cyrus Geoffrey Rod has urged that believers need to know the truth by reading the Word of God themselves, to be able to discern spirits.
He noted that neither the government nor religious federations will be able to wipe out false teachers, who the bible vividly declared will be in our midst in these last days.
