In regard to this Easter season, Gospel dancehall-ragga artist Zabuli Jalia has said that resurrection is in her entire destiny.
The death of Christ was the death of one who was sinless, on behalf of those who were sinners. Over the years there have been some who have sought to show that the death of Christ was less noble than it is.
Unknown to them, it was our condition of being helplessly dead in our sins that made the resurrection of Christ such a vitally needed truth.
In 1 Corinthians chapter 15, Paul argues that apart from Christ’s resurrection, we would have no hope:
Many believers, like Zabuli, urge that this same Resurrection power that brought Christ from the dead is still at work in our lives today.
“You dying for me has no [equatable] price, than for me your own seed of love to surrender my all and whole to you.” Zabuli said Saturday.
“Resurrection is in me and my whole destiny. Use me Holy Ghost.” She added.
Like Zabuli, several artists have taken to social media sharing the message of Christ’s death and resurrection with their audiences.
“There is nothing deeper, nothing wider, nothing stronger both on earth and in heaven than God’s love. Absolutely nothing.” Brian Lubega, who also doubles as a Pastor wrote.
“God celebrated you before anyone did, if he didn’t spare his only son, what makes you think you are not special, you are loved.” The ‘Wegukubira’ hit singer added.
