Kim Clement has gone home to be with the Lord.
The USA based prophetic worshipper, according to a statement issued by his family on his official website, was recently hospitalized with pneumonia and complications due to his diseased lungs, and his body was just too weak to combat the illness that also included a brain bleed.
Last December, he suffered a brain aneurysm doctors said was likely caused by an infection in his heart.
While issuing this statement on the sad loss a few hours back, the family has thanked Kim’s fans for the support and love that they have shown to Jane, his wife and the family throughout this 16-month journey.
“We are so very grateful, and we appreciate your continued prayers for the family as they face the upcoming days. Our hearts are broken, but we cannot mention his passing without honoring and celebrating the amazing life that Kim lived.”
According to Charisma News that has also announced the news of his passing, Clement’s prophetic ministry reached countless people as he reveals the heartbeat of God in tragedy and triumph, good times and bad, war and peace, in democratic or theocratic circles, crossing all cultural barriers by communicating God’s feelings for them.
“His life and ministry were a testament to the love of Christ, imparting hope to everyone who heard his voice, and continuously stretching out his hand of generosity to those hurting and in need. Kim fought a good fight, finished the race, kept the faith, and is now embracing his exceedingly great reward in Heaven. ”
“Plans and details for a Celebration of Life service will be posted soon. Thank you for standing with Kim, Jane, their family, and all of us here at the House of Destiny. We love and cherish each and every one of you, and together we will carry the vision.”
Clement has been unique to many because of his background in music; he prophesies while singing. He is known as a singing prophet.
Kim Clement was born in Uitenhage South Africa in 1956. At about ten years old, his mother had enrolled him in the Trinity College of London. Clement says that he gave his life to the Lord on a street in South Africa in 1973.
The day Kim was baptized, he received an audible word from the Lord as he came up out of the water that he was called to be a minister of the gospel. He believed God was calling him to be a missionary to the United States so he packed up his family and moved to America.
His band was well trained to move with his speech and hits all the high and low notes as Clement winds the people through passionate speeches of “abundance,” prophesying “victory,” “more,” “blessings’ and “higher places,” in his gatherings.
