South Africa-based Malawian prophet Shepherd Bushiri of the Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) and Shepherd Bushiri Ministries has been accorded a honorary doctorate degree in Divinity from a United States based International University and Seminary that offers both theoretical and practical implements for leading a successful ministry.
The Canadian International Chaplaincy Association (CICA) on Monday honored the 35-year-old together with his wife Mary Bushiri, for what was described as ‘selfless dedication to the work of the Kingdom of God both inside and outside church.’
This development comes a head of his planned visit to Uganda slated for 2nd to 4th October 2018 at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Kampala. According to Pastor Denis Amos Emojong of Embassy of God Ministries, the event dubbed ‘Kampala Miracle Crusade’ will be free of charge.
Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife also received UN-approved Ambassadorial titles being a Commander of the Most Distinguish Order of Special Envoy (CDSE) and an order of Minister Statesman Commander of the most Distinguished order of Kingdom Ambassadors (CDKA).
CICA representative His Excellency Dr. Devon Bannister told media in light of the newly bestowed honours, Prophet Bushiri now has the right to use the title Ambassador before his name and the CDKA and OMS after his name according to the order of Ephesians 6:20 and from the Kingdom of God Constitution in accordance to 2 Corinthians 5:20.
With the award, Bushiri has now been given access and backing by many institutions that are affiliated with this Canadian organization to preach in any country across the world.
CICA is a Christian organisation accredited with the status of NGO Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council, (ECOSOC).
The organisation is accredited by the Evangelical Order of Certified Pastoral Counselors of America (EOCPC) and the World-Wide Accreditation Commission of Christian Education Institutions, one of the largest non- governmental Evangelical/Full Gospel Accreditation agency for over 30 years.
