LUZIRA – President Yoweri Museveni’s daughter who is the lead Pastor of Covenant Nations Church in Luzira has on Wednesday hosted several born-again Pastors in the country and the First Lady to a 4-day conference.
It is here that the she declared that “the enemy is afraid of what God is about to release,” as she delved more into the conference theme “unmasking the spirit of freemasonry.”
Patience in a statement shared on her Ministry Facebook Page explained that he [the enemy] desires Christians to worship him through material wealth.
The 40-year-old who recently said she was inspired by preachers like TL Osborn, Daisy Osborn, Reinhard Bonnke and Dr. Morris Cerullo while growing up, noted that Many Christians do not understand that Freemasonry, with all its outward appearances of a positive benefit to individuals and to the community, “is in reality one of the most cleverly disguised enterprises of the devil.”
One of the conference speakers, Dr. Selwyn Stevens was quoted as saying; “God has given us the tools to remove all the spiritual clouds. It’s time to punch some holes in the Spiritual clouds.”
Rarely do Christian conferences and crusades end without converts asking a question about the nature and beliefs of Freemasonry. The questions often relate to followers of Jesus Christ who have erroneously gotten caught up in the masonic system.
Pr Patience Rwabwogo believes the unbiblical and anti-Christian beliefs and practices behind the ‘spirit of freemasonry’ are partially hidden beneath an outward appearance of a supposed compatibility with the Christian faith.
“We begin to realize that the spiritual dimensions of Freemasonry are detrimental to us, as well as being opposed by the God of the Bible,” she said.
Other speakers lined up are Dr Joseph Serwadda, Head of the Born Again Faith Federation in Uganda, Bishop Joshua Lwere, Dr John Mulinde and Apostle Alex Mitala among others.
First Lady Janet Kataaha Museveni was the guest of honour. The conference is expected to run till 27 October, 2018 at Covenant Nations Church in Luzira, a suburb of Kampala, the capital of Uganda.
