Multitudes around the country are posting prayers and messages of support for Families of three of four Ndejje Senior Secondary School students who died on spot while on their way to school to pick their Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations results on Friday.
According to a statement issued by Police, a Toyota Brevis, silver grey in colour carrying the 4 students rammed into a tipper lorry that was parked on the road side buying bricks at 11:00am, on mile 19 Bombo, Luwero district.
“The three students died on the spot while their colleague identified as Timothy Njogera was taken to Bombo military Hospital in critical condition. The preliminary traffic investigation report points to speeding,” Mr Charles Ssebambulidde, the Public Relations Officer at the Traffic Directorate in Kampala told a local news daily.
The youngsters had recorded a nine-second video that has already gone viral online, with each sharing a moment of excitement inside the car.
Authorities at Ndejje SS confirmed the sad news to media starting that Vincent, the male who was driving the car which crashed had scored Agg 14, Mark Ndugga got Agg 37 while Isaac Sserwanje got Agg 31.
