Speaking live from Malawi on Thursday night, Prophet Brian Kagyezi, the founder of Pneuma Word Ministries in Uganda, issued what he termed as a ‘prophetic instruction’ to Christians as they step into the new year, 2021.
Calling it the ‘Year Of Light,’ Prophet Kagyezi encouraged the Church to pray for peace in Uganda, and also commit the United States of America before God.
Here is his message (in part).
One of the things that the Lord has been ministering to me about is, as a nation, we need to pray for our country because a lot of things are going to unfold into 2021.
I have come prophesying this thing for years. In the year 2018, I said there is a lot of turmoil, unsettlement that might happen after the year 2021. And so, I said let us pray. I said I saw bloodshed, people being shot, I saw chaos. This is because there are people who will try to take things in their (own) hands in this new year, 2021.
I want to give you a prophetic instruction, as a country, let us push for peace, let us pray for peace. Let us pray for our leaders. Even those who want change, let them try to do it in a manner that is accepting. Let us not use anger, because if we (take) that direction, we might end up creating a bigger challenge for us.
This coming year (2021), we must pray for Uganda. I saw a lot of trouble, so we need to pray that our country will be secured.
The year of light, 2021, is going to bring things closer to you. I see everyone who has been praying for somethings, they are going to come closer in this new year of 2021. There are many of you who have big dreams and you did not know how you are going to achieve this, I see these things coming very close to you. For the first time in your life, you are going to see things that you thought would come in 20 years come very close to you.
Continue to pray for the people in the U.S because if the new government comes through, which is the democratic government, we see a lot of trouble going to happen. As you already know, they are already starting to appoint people who are gay. You might think you are not concerned, or its too far from you, but these things you will find them at your door. The reason we pray for the U.S is because some of the decisions which they are taking , in one way of the other, affect us as a nation, and as Christians.
We need to pray that even though the democratic government might come through, God will put His own people, who can stop some of the things that are going to be done. 4 years ago I told you, if this democratic government comes through, it is coming to do evil. That is all they are coming to do. Their agenda is so off. It is not helping the Church.
As a Church, we need to rise up and pray, because what happens there, is going to end up affecting what happens in your house.
Also, in the year 2021, there is a lot of things we are going to start to see. A lot of growth is going to be seen. I know that we are in a very interesting time, but you must understand that when the Children of Israel were in Egypt, the bible says in their land of Goshen, there was light, while in the land of the Egyptians, there was darkness. So, just because we are here in a turmoil of COVID-19, it does not mean that we are not going to see the hand of God.
On the other hand, begin to pray because, the pandemic is going to usher in a lot of evil. Some of you have been thinking that the things you studied about the End-Times are too far. You are about to see them. And within a space of ten years, you are going to see a lot of things that have been spoken about in the Bible which must happen before the rapture. But, it is beginning with this pandemic.
As Christians, we must know, the next 10 years are not for playing games. 2020 was a significant year in that it was a turn of a decade, so you are going to start seeing very strange things. We need to pray that we are strengthened with might to move forward.
