Pastor Jackson Senyonga of Christian Life Church, Kavule, Makerere – Kampala says God has ushered forth a fearless generation of believers who are not intimidated by evil but prepared for spiritual battle.
He urges that this generation will know where and how to move because God has given them the boldness to confront challenges without fright.
Pastor Jackson Senyonga made this proclamation during the Praise, Prayer, Prosperity, Power and Permanent miracles (P5) gathering at Christian Life Church. His sermon was delivered with worship in popular single, ‘No Longer Slaves’ by American worship group, Bethel Music.
“When God was establishing P5, He knew exactly what He was doing. He gave us this song knowing what it is was going to do. He knew that this song was going to muddle the works of Satan in your life, mine, that of the church and Uganda.” He said.
“False prophets would deceive us. Disease and problems would cloud us. We knew not what God would do. But he was preparing a generation – we are that generation that God has called to defeat the power of darkness and witchcraft.
“Whatever has surrounded and troubled us for long, God is giving us the boldness to look it direct in the face and say; you can no longer intimidate or scare me for I’m going to over power you in the name of Jesus.” The Peacher said.
Pastor Jackson quoted both John 8:36 and Luke 10:19, urging congregants that still felt intimidated in life to continue declaring in faith that they are not slaves to fear.
“If you are still held up in fear, God is driving it out in the name of Jesus. He gave us the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm you. Whatever terrifies you, sing this song in faith – For if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. He who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” He said.
