Viga-winning gospel artiste Justine Nabbosa has made a career out of inspiring others with her music but, what inspires her? Ahead of her upcoming concert this weekend, she has released a number of heart-filled gospel trucks that include ‘Oli Katonda’ to mean You are God.
This is one of so many songs that have kick-started and raised the bar for the soulful worshiper . she is gifted in music and always affirms to the fact that the Lord has called her to the ministry of Worship.
She is a mass choir leader and is regularly featured in Wilson’s music recordings. she has also been the opening act for many gospel ministers, such as Waswa Kiyingi, Jean Peace, and Judith Babirye, on their country tours and concerts.
Justine was born and raised by a Christian family in eastern Uganda. Her father being a pastor, Justine grew up teaching Sunday school classes, singing in the choir and leading school fellowships.
She has now been in the industry for over 12 years and enjoys ministering at the various places she is invited, as well as training and imparting skills and knowledge to other aspirant singers.
What is further exciting about her is that, she is a Pastor of Prayer at Light the World Church and also leads the Thursday Prayer Alter and Tuesday intercessions.
The church’s six pastors include Wilson Bugembe, Wilfred Blair, Bernard Kibumba, Sayuni Philip, Justine Nabbosa and Joram Katenda.
Her ‘oli katonda’ live concert is scheduled to take place on 24th April at Light the World Church in Nansana. Entrance is 5000/= and 10,000/= ugx silver, 20,000/= and 50,000/= ugx for gold.
