Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (D.Sc., D.D.), the President of Believers’ LoveWorld Inc. and Christ Embassy together with USA Pastor Benny Hinn held a charity gala in Olmaya Hall, Jerusalem.
The event came following Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s week-long visit to Israel, and included invited guests, local and international members of the Evangelical community as well as supporters from the Jewish community.
The Jerusalem Orchestra was also present, according to a statement by the Ministry.
The attendees had the chance to experience places like the Western Wall in Jerusalem; a 2000-year-old Jewish Holy Site linked to the Second Temple, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the traditional site of Christ’s crucifixion, burial, and resurrection and Cana of Galilee where Jesus turned water to wine. The trip is filled with museums, monuments, authentic markets, great food and much more.
The trip was divided into four different groups, each accompanying the Pastor at crucial moments and sites.
Participants shared that “it was a moment in which Christians could understand, first hand, where Jesus resided and what He went through in His life.” The Biblical Holy Land is not just in Israel, it spreads out to other modern-day countries such as Jordan, making this tour an opportunity to experience new countries.
During the tour, Pastor Chris was invited to a special event hosted by the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, who was celebrating the move of the US Embassy to Jerusalem.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome stated: “Every Christian must love Israel because adoring Israel is loving Jesus”during leading the Holy Tour at Israel.”
This is the third year that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, along with members of the Believers’ LoveWorld (BLW), are touring the Holy Land, according to sources.
Throughout the excursion Pastor Chris was quoted as saying: “Israel is open currently because it has embraced Democracy, unlike its neighbors.”
