Pastor Wilson Bugembe of The Worship House located in Nansana, Wakiso district, celebrated his 40th birthday Thursday.
He reached out to the vulnerable members of the community by freely distributing food, among other essential items.
Majority of the beneficiaries were widows, orphans, elderly people, single mothers, and needy students
Pastor Bugembe said this is his way of expressing gratitude to God for life, and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the community.
“My Mum died at 26 years, dad died at 33. I am the longest living member in my father’s House,” he said, in a lengthy statement of thanksgiving shared online.
He also credited God for ministry growth wherein Worship House, has been able to plant more than 2 churches in the central region of Uganda.
As he embarks on a new season of his life, Pr Bugembe stated that his desire is to reach out to atleast 20million souls for Jesus Christ through sermons and songs, testimonies or even drama.
