Power FM announces PhatFest; dials in 20 years of radio ministry

Popular Christian radio station Power 104.1 Fm has officially announced to its ardent fans that the annual celebration PhatFest will happen 13 January, 2018 under the theme “Love at 20.”

Furthermore, Power 104.1 FM is also set to mark its 20th anniversary. Establishment in 1998, the station says it has through relevant programming sought ways of bringing communities to the knowledge and love of Christ.

The grand event official launch was announce Friday at Watoto Church, during the ‘Power, Sex and Money’ gathering where they hosted Mr Francis Egbuson, the Chief Executive and Principal at CEMM Group,  a corporate training and consulting company.

This development was received amid ululation from the congregants. The venue this time is Lugogo Cricket oval – Kampala.

In 2016, the station former Managing Director, Peter Kakuru led them through a re-brand and explained that it was aimed at restructuring Power 104.1 FM to become more relevant to serve their audience better.

PhatFest started 2009, and was revamped later to a day-long family festival . The event has closely graced almost every top flight gospel artiste in the region as well as international musicians.

Who should fans expect this time? The station has not yet revealed.
