A prayer service held on 31 December at Kabalye Police Training School in Masindi, district saw several new police recruits embrace the gospel, and declare their commitment to Jesus Christ.

Pastor Samuel Kasigwa who led prayers at the function told Uganda Christian News on Sunday that the recruits gathered to glorify God through thanksgiving, praise and worship, and reflected on what He’s enabled them achieve the past year.

“It was awesome and Massive and thousands accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and saviour,” said Pastor Kasigwa.

Police recruits declared their commitment to Jesus Christ, pastor says.

“There is a room for all people at the cross of calvary and in the kingdom of God no matter one’s profession, rank or title and Christ died for us all,” he added, quoting Luke 3:12-14.

Pastor Kasigwa described 2021 is a year of winning more souls for Christ.

The Police training facility was opened for training courses in 2005. It has over the years built capacity to train a maximum of over 6,000 trainees without straining both the directing staff and instructors (teaching staff).
