Pneuma Word Ministries International has given out Christmas food items worth 50 million shillings to at least 1000 families as it celebrates 2 years since being founded.

In a statement sent to Uganda Christian News, the ministry founded by Prophet Brian Kagyezi explained that this year has had an increase of the zones from 9 last year to now 13 zones in the Northern Part of Kampala and these include Luteete, Komamboga, Kungu, Kitettika, Walufumbe, Nazareth, Kyanja central, Kisaasi central, Kondongolo, Tubba, Katumba, Kasana and Kulambiro

The “Feed A Thousand” initiative supported by Church members and other like-minded individuals took place on Sunday 22nd December.

Speaking at the Feed a thousand event, the founder of Pneuma Word Ministries, Prophet Brian Kagyezi said the ministry was celebrating 2 years of God’s faithfulness and so it was necessary to celebrate with the community which we exist in by sharing the Christmas with them.

Prophet Kagyezi revealed that there was no better way to celebrate God without the people we live with and that “God has blessed us with wonderful community members and leaders.”

Nakawa Division mayor, Ronald Balimwezo (second from the left) thanked the Church for the gesture to support the needy.

“We thank God for welcoming us into this community and we are always humbled for the love and relationships we have with the community,” said Prophet Brian.

Also in attendance was the Nakawa Division mayor, Ronald Balimwezo who thanked the Church for the gesture to support the needy. The blessing this church has been to the community is very beautiful and we thank God for what it is doing in transforming the lives of people.

The beneficiaries included the elderly, disabled, orphans, widows and the sick.

“It is absurd that there are many churches that are only seeking out to take from people but not give back. Churches need to be reaching out to people but instead, we have churches that have forgotten their purpose,” said Hon. Balimwezo.
