A Boeing 737-800 flying from London made an emergency landing following a loss of cabin pressure this week on Wednesday.
It was flying in Greek airspace when a loss of cabin pressure forced it to return and land in Turkey, police sources said.
The plane took its route 3 times, but was pushed back by the winds close to the black sea.No injuries were reported.
Several passengers later continued with their journey on another Airlines flight, among whom was Bweyinda David, Senior Pastor and Founder of Redeemed Churches of Uganda.
On return to Uganda yesterday, Pr Bweyinda narrated the incident, thanking God for keeping him safe.
“I have finally touched down Entebbe airport in peace and not piece. My flight from London almost crushed in the black sea. Egyptian airways didn’t make it but thank God I made (it) so I can preach the gospel to more nations,” He stated in part.
