As early as 3 PM, Christians from various corners of the country had arrived at Lugogo Criket Oval to witness first-hand, what was to happen at the Kampala City Crusade organised by Christ Embassy Uganda on Friday.
Attendees enjoyed a host of faith-friendly activities, and the weather was just appropriate for many to keep their jackets off. They also heard from international speakers, lead by Christ Embassy East African Virtual Zone, Pastor Louis Osademe .
Christian musician Ada together with Eden and Agent Snypa led the youthful and jubilant crowd to the throne, through various renown praise and worship songs in the most incredible way.
“I was able to witness one man on a wheel chair for more than 7 years due to an operation take his first steps,” one of the participants, David Etengu remarked.
Joyce Lucy Atim added, “What a day in Uganda to remember! Awesome experience with great administration of the spirit of the Lord, Uganda will never be the same again.”
The altar call session by Pastor Louis Osademe saw many give their lives to Christ.
The gathering came after Christ Embassy, led by founding president of Believers’ Loveworld Incorporated, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (D.Sc., D.D.) announced various healing and miracle crusades across Africa early this year.
Unlike Eden and Agent Snypa who have been in Uganda on a couple of occasions, this is the very first time Ada was stepping foot in this country.
She is the vocal powerhouse behind songs, I Testify, Only You Jesus, I’m a Miracle, Cheta, Our God Reigns, Bobo Me, Jesus the same among others.
Before singing ” Only You Jesus,” Ada had an eternal reminder for the audience.
“God’s presence is here,” she said.
Although the major acts arrived way after 12pm, the excitement among believers was still as fresh. They expressed joy in seeing their music resonate with worshipers in Kampala.
Emmanuel Benjamin, popularly known as Eden is most popular for his single,’God has given me victory’. Others include “Imaranma”,”God Dey” and ”Iwo Nikan.”
