On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Pastor Justine Nabbosa has encouraged fellow ladies to stand up to the impossible in front of them through persistent prayer.

Speaking during a women’s conference at Arise A New Generation Ministries (AAGM), Pastor Nabbosa who doubles as a recording gospel artist, urged that the Bible is full of stories of men and women who faced significant and surprising challenges, but saw God respond when they persevered in prayer.

In Daniel 2, Pastor Nabbosa explained that when Daniel was faced with an impossible challenge of interpreting king Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, he asked the Lord to reveal not only the dream, but its interpretation.

“When Daniel was challenged with the dream of King Nebuchadnezzar, the wise people had failed. There are places where your wisdom and books will not take you,” Pastor Nabbosa stated. “Daniel went to a place of prayer.”

“Hidden things are revealed from a place of prayer,” she added, quoting Daniel 2:19-21.

The ‘Oli Katonda’ hit singer likened Nebuchadnezzar’s dream to various difficult situations Christians face in life today.

She quoted James 1:5, ESV: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.”

“Have you ever encountered a difficult situation, something very hard and you don’t know how to go about it?” she continued. “I want to introduce you to a place where solutions are made: it is the war room.”

“The War Room is a place where things are changed. In that place, noting is impossible. In that place, you only discuss victory, and not failure. In that place, the Lord Himself is the warrior, advisor and leader,” she said. “In the war room is where King Hezekiah went after the prophets of the time had prophesied that he was going to die (Isaiah 38:1).”

Pastor Nabbosa explained that times of fellowship with God in the war room are essential to Christian growth.

“Jacob was in the war room and his life did not remain the same. His destiny changed. His name changed. He had tried on his own, but things did not work out. His mother tied to help, but still things did not work out. Laban tried to help, things did not work out. He knew a place of prayer where things work out and lives are transformed. In the place of prayer, nothing is impossible,” she said.

Additionally cautioning women on the power of words (the tongue), Nabbosa quoted Proverbs 14:1 which reads: “The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.”
