Apostle Grace Lubega has during Phaneroo’s 3rd anniversary at Lugogo Cricket Oval – Kampala on Saturday advised pastors to keep grievances off the pulpit and concentrate on preaching the gospel.
He said that believers cannot live in this world and do supernatural things except if “our appetites are dead to the things of this world and they are alive unto God.”
“We are living in the times where men are hungry than they have ever been before. People are tired of drama. People are tired of cheap talk. Do I have a witness? People are tired of disputes on radio and TV. They are tired of war in newspapers. They are tired of the ‘words’ pastors use at the pulpit. And God is about to Change something in this land.” Ap Lubega said.
He sent out a sound warning to people who are “removing Jesus from the pulpit, putting their cheap battles.” He noted that those days have come to an end and he explained further that people come to church so that they might receive life to the fullest.
Over the course of lifetime, pressure has mounted due to countless disputes among pastors reported on different Christian and non Christian radio and TV channels in Uganda. As this website has often reported, the result has be an ugly mess that has left battered congregations.
“The Lord spoke to me three (3) years ago and He told me; I have sent a mandate that not many are ready to receive because of the state of their heart. The revelation of the person of Jesus has a certain response of spirit that can be confused. Because there are two men on the field, and they both appear to be doing the same thing – they are serving God – but one man is lusting over the things of this world.” Ap Lubega stated.
“He [God] says brethren, reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God. I’m not talking of the sin of babes… am talking of the sin of the mature ones. Men which offend because they do not abide in love, in all knowledge and judgement and for such they cannot examine the things most excellent and because they cant, the bible says they have offense of the day of Christ. For He is not a fool who should lose what he cannot keep, to keep what He cannot lose.” He elucidated.
Ap Lubega said there were times when men were ignorant and in the days of ignorance, God winked but, He now calls all men to repent.
“Metanoia. We are running out of time… If you are a teacher, teach. If you are a preacher, preach. If you are a prophet, prophecy. If you are an apostle, apostolise. If you are a worshiper, worship. If you are a businessman, make money. If you are a student, excel.” He said.
It is during the anniversary that Ap Grace Lubega revealed that the ministry has over 50,000 people watching the program online very Thursday from about 160 nations.
He also noted that this year, they have won a total of “exceedingly above 10,000 souls already”.
Notable figures that graced the celebration included several pastors from across the country, police officials, singer Desire Luzinda and Journalist Andrew Muwenda who latter took to social media saying; Old man at a Phaneroo event at Lugogo indoor stadium waiting for Jesus to come and kidnap me to his kingdom.
