Christian Restoration Ministries International (CRMI) leader, Apostle John Bunjo handed over a new house to a mother, who was for years renting a cramped facility with her seven children.
The mother, only identified as Mariam, withholding her joy with great effort, entered her new fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment with solar power installation a day to Christmas.
“The dream is coming to pass. We thank God that Mariam can now have a place that she stays. We appreciate God and the team that supported the project,” Pr Bunjo said, noting that Mariam was formerly in a single-room house.
Also present was Mr Ssentongo Binali, who has hosting Mariam and her family.
“Our vision is to transform lives and raise agents of change – They are now going to have their first Christmas in their own house,” Pr Bunjo said.
Many Christians took to social media to laud the Pastor for what they called a true gesture of Christianity.
“That’s the best gospel, practical. Your exemplary sir,” social media user under account name Samuel Fredrick Kalibbala said.
In 2004, Bunjo initiated a sponsorship program to educate the most disadvantaged children. He began with educating a couple of children from his personal resources, however, in 2006 God opened a door for an organized and structured sponsorship program where a (a one) Mrs. Jane Sullivan volunteered to coordinate and direct the project in the UK.
By the time she retired in 2014, Jane had built CRMI into a registered charity in the UK.
