Popular Nigerian Pastor Enoch Adeboye and his wife Foluke Adenike Adeboye are expected to arrive in Kampala, Uganda this week.
Pastor Adeboye, who is the General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Worldwide, will meet the Head of State President Yoweri K. Museveni and the first lady, Janet Kataaha Museveni during his 6-day visit.
Mrs Museveni endorsed Adeboye’s gospel gathering in the country, describing him as “an Elijah of our times.”
During an exclusive interview with Uganda Christian News in May, the national coordinator RCCG – Uganda, Pastor Ezekiel Kolawole Oladipupo said Pastor Adeboye will on 13th June speak to Bishops, Apostles, Pastors and Evangelists, marketplace leaders among other people in ministry, before addressing the nation at Kololo ceremonial grounds on 14th June under the theme ‘greater glory’ at 4pm.
“Pastor E.A. Adeboye’s visit will be an opportune time for them to receive undiluted Word of God, so that we can leave better in these end times. These are very dangerous times for our generation. As pastors we need to become an example to the church, in order to win more souls,” Pastor Ezekiel told Uganda Christian News.
“I believe so many pastors are going to be encouraged. As we stand at the pulpit, most of the time we are giving out, but there is no opportunity for us to also receive,” he added.
On Saturday 15th at 8:00am; Pastor E.A. Adeboye’s wife will speak to women leaders, pastors’ wives at the feast of Esther.
“This is a program set apart to impact the life of Pastors, Bishops and Apostles wives. They need to know what it takes for the ministry of their husbands to survive and succeed,” Pastor Ezekiel told this website.
All these meetings will take place at Kololo ceremonial grounds and there is no fee needed to attend.
