Nick Vujicic, a Christian evangelist born without arms or legs, has set out on a mission of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to 1 billion more people across the world by 2028.
According to the 38 year-old, billions of people around the world have no idea that Christ is “the answer” to every problem in the world today.
“We’re on a mission to change that,” he says.
With an organic social media following of over 10 million people, the Australian American Evangelist who is also father of four (4), has traveled over 63 nations encouraging others not only to overcome personal challenges, but to dedicate their lives to Jesus Christ as well.
“There are at least 4.3 billion people on earth who don’t know Jesus. That’s why we’re committed to sharing the Gospel with 1 billion more people by 2028.”
The evangelist’s four main focus areas include live outreach events, prison ministry, digital ministry, among others.
In 2005, Vujicic founded Life Without Limbs, an international non-profit organisation and ministry. Since its initiation, over one million people have made a decision for Christ, according to the ministry.
“If God can use a man without arms and legs to be His hands and feet, then He will certainly use any willing heart!”
According to his autobiography, his mother refused to see him or hold him when the nurse held him in front of her, and she and her husband went out of the hospital and vomited from seeing their son with no limbs, but they eventually accepted the condition and understood it as “God’s plan for their son.”
For Nick, the victory over his struggles, as well as his strength and passion for life today, can be credited to his faith in God. His family, friends and the many people he has encountered along the journey have inspired him to carry on.
