There’s no question — marriage can be challenging. Maybe marriage counseling should be something you register for when you tie the knot.
Much like a new set of dishes that gets scratched from constant use, relationships can also show wear and tear over the years.
If you still love your spouse, really want to make things work, and haven’t been successful, then consider talking to your pastor or finding a counselor.
With new technology trends, new apps are available that can improve your relationship/marriage by helping you connect (or stay connected) better with your spouse. So why not harness the innovation for your marriage?
Old Mutual Uganda has launched a phone application to allow individuals and couples access professional counselling advice at any time.
The organisation offers advice is 360 degrees and deals with different aspects such as courtship, newly wed, infidelity, finances and much more.
Through the app, individuals can also book appointments with counselors to deal with issues ranging from premarital and marital stress to debt management and get insurance quotes.”
Theodora Niringiye, the proprietor of Relate Counselling, told media that the app should improve access to professional advice for those who are busy.
