Singer Edwin Lutaya, one of the founding members and CEO of gospel group, New Chapter Africa (NCA) was hospitalised at Roseacres Hospital in South Africa, UG Christian News can confirm.
Sources close to the singer revealed on Tuesday that Edwin’s situation is still critical, and that his friends are apparently denied access to the hospital.
“We need your prayers,” New Chapter Africa posted on facebook as it shared news of Edwin’s condition.
Unconfirmed reports claim Lutaya had gone for a meeting with his fellow NCA members and when it ended, the trio “decided to go and have lunch together at a certain restaurant where he is believed to been poisoned.”
