So goes part of the first stanza of Jonas Rayme’s new breathtaking single “Focus on you” which addresses our need to focus on God.
Born Mbaleka Jonathan Raymond Bukenya, the 23-year-old says “Focus on you” is a song that relates to the current social life of people, how they tend to live life for the world and worry too much because of their ambitions and challenges.
“The song goes on and reminds you that if we choose to focus on God and seek first His kingdom, the rest will just workout by His Glory!” Jonas says, quoting Matthew 6:33.
This song released 17th August has in this short while captivated the hearts of many Christians, who are not drawn to just the enriching biblical lyrics but also the soothing vocals and legit production.
“This just spoke right to my spirit. God bless you and increase you.” (A one) Matilda Jolly Kahunde told the singer when he first posted the song.
Jonas Rayme has several memorable moment he reckons valuable including being nominated and announced HIT Rising Star 2015 by the Heaven Inspired Triumph awards.
