Mayhem – Ugandan police have been deployed in downtown Kampala to control supporters of leading opposition presidential candidate, Kizza Besigye.

Many of his supporters more so the students from Makerere University have joined the rally, tearing and burning down most of the posters belonging to incumbent president Y K Museveni.

Most of the businesses in the city centre have shut down.
