The daughter of popular American worship leader and recording gospel artist, Micah Stampley has died at age 15.
Mary Stampley died Tuesday after a seizure.
Spokesman David Robinson through a press statement released late Tuesday confirmed Mary’s death adding that funeral arrangements and ways to comfort the family will be shared as soon as details are confirmed.
“It is with a heavy heart that the Stampley family would like to announce the passing of their 15 year old daughter, Mary Stampley. Please keep their family in your prayers and respect their privacy as they deal with this traumatic event,” the statement read.
Micah was in Uganda on 1st September, 2018 for an event at Zoe grounds in Kampala.
He is most popular for songs including ‘Heaven on Earth’, ‘Be Lifted’, ‘Holiness’ among others. Together with his wife, Heidi Stampley, they are the co-founders of Interface Entertainment and Operation I Believe, Inc., a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, launched in 2006 with platforms that include humanitarian and outreach initiatives.
Micah Stampley has shared the same stage with Donnie McClurkin and other prominent gospel ministers and preachers including Benny Hinn.
