Whatever struggles you are facing at the moment, however difficult life looks, however impossible the situation seems, it is important to remember God’s love for you and trust that with Him all things are possible.
The above statement deeply resonates with one Christian Pastor and doctor whose wombless wife’s miraculously conceived following prayer.
He testifies that in 2014 a surgical procedure known as hysterectomy was performed to remove his wife’s uterus when she developed abdominal complications.
That aside, the ovaries, cervix and fallopian tubes were also removed during the procedure.
The young couple’s dream to have more children came to a standstill since this event ended the preacher’s wife ability to become pregnant – so they thought.
“We went to see a Professor of gynaecology. Upon investigation, she was diagnosed of ovarian cyst and the ovarian cyst was operated. But when she was opened up, the Professor called me and said, “there is a problem” and he needed to conduct a whole hysterectomy: the ovaries needed to be removed and some other things needed to be removed just to enable her live,” said Pastor Joseph, in an update by Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche, Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre Abuja, Nigeria.
After the surgery, the Pastor says it was difficult for him to tell his wife what the doctors had done exactly. He nevertheless gathered courage and opened up. They henceforth opted for adoption.
“We forgot completely about having a baby because the doctor told us it cannot work again and we agreed. I saw the womb and every other thing removed, there was nothing: it was an evidential material to show me that all of this had been done,” Pastor Joseph recalled.
In January 2018, the couple met with their Senior Pastor and during prayer, a declaration of faith was released into their lives for a shift in dimension.
“Anything not working in your life is beginning to work now,” their pastor, Dr Paul Enenche said, before he anointed them with oil.
By February that same year, the young preacher was shocked when symptoms of pregnancy began to manifest in his wife.
“I was afraid, I thought it was another challenge, so I had to put a call to her father and the elder sister to alert them that she is complaining of something. They said, “let’s watch.” It became an issue and a burden to me,” the pastor said.
Adding: “Two months after, the issue progressed and it was becoming like a semblance of a baby in her womb. I asked her to go for an examination.”
By April, it was confirmed that the wife was pregnant.
“When the investigation was conducted, I was there: we saw a baby running inside…I told the doctor her medical history because my NHIS was there. He said, “we are not going to handle this as a primary issue, it’s not going to be a secondary issue, it’s going to be a tertiary medical issue so they can monitor her.” I said: “No problem and we all started that way.”” Pastor Joseph explained.
He went on: “Five months, six months: antenatal started and all of a sudden, on the Wednesday of last month (October). On the 10th October 2018, a surgeon called me that he needed a team of other surgeons to handle this peculiar case: “should I avail them the opportunity to go ahead”. I said: They should go ahead, it shouldn’t be a monetary challenge. He summoned others and they opened her up.”
The Pastor’s wife successfully delivered a bouncing baby boy with a weight of 4.5 kg. According to him, it wasn’t a womb the doctors saw; it was a “pouch, that is film like in structure,” that housed the baby for the 9 months.
When the surgery was being conducted to bring out this child, the wife narrates that the nurses ran away when they saw the pouch.
“They saw a pouch-like enclosure that God specially created. There was no uterus, no cervix, no fallopian tubes, no ovaries but God said, “let me show the world.” I believe that was why God made it to happen by surgery because if she delivered normally, we would have thought it’s a normal thing. But God said, “open her up and see what I did. I created something to carry a child. I could have given her a new womb, new ovaries, new fallopian tubes. Let me just create something, let me do it differently,” the preacher said.
Adding: “Who told you that the removal of your womb is the end of your life? Who told you that there is anything that the devil removed from your life that cannot be replaced and restored and repaired with God. We serve a God who is doing miracles till today. Apart from being a pastor, I am a medical doctor, what has happened now is impossible!”
