Bishop Godfrey Mawa, the president of Commission International Inc. and wife, Hawa Musa dedicated their new born child, Mackayla before God while at Kansanga Miracle Centre on Sunday.
The couple got married in October last year after a trendsetting engagement in which Bishop Mawa proposed in the middle of a busy junction at Wandegeya, a neighborhood within the city of Kampala.
Bishop Godfrey Mawa told Pastor Isaac Kyobe Kiwewesi who is the founder and Senior Pastor of Kansanga Miracle Centre Church that their baby girl is a Miracle, adding that the “beautiful wedding with Hawa brought God’s joy flooding into my heart.”
Bishop Mawa thanked Pr Kiwewesi for loving and receiving him with Joy at Kansanga Miracle Centre Church. He also Thanked him for raising Hawa in accordance with God’s word.
The couple was accompanied by relatives and friends including NTV Gospel Explosion show host, Caroline flower.
“I want to thank Pr Kiwewesi and the entire administrative team of Kansanga Miracle Centre for supporting us during our wedding. Truth is, God did that wedding through you. God used you. In life, you need a day when God will make you happy. That day God made me glad. He made my wife happy. Thank you for supporting us financially and in prayer, “Bishop Mawa said.
“This day reminds me of 2007 when I came to this church. It was during prayer and fasting. I shed tears that day. I cannot say much but, I am a living testimony,” remarked Hawa, who doubles as a gospel minister.
“Pr Kiwewesi has not been just a spiritual father to me, but a physical father too when I lost my biological fatHer. And on the day of my wedding, he worked as a father would for a daughter. All I can say is, who is like God? He lifts us from poverty and make us great,” she added.
The couple was prayed for a they sought grace and wisdom in carrying out their responsibilities of raising Mackayla.
In his remarks, Pr Kiwewesi revealed that Bishop Mawa had joined the Kansanga Miracle Centre Church family. He among other things prayed that God will guide their way and give them strength. He prayed that grace shall exceed and that the couple will subdue nations.
