Do you ever wonder why Jesus, the Son of God was born in such humble circumstances? He could have been born into any family on earth that God the Father wanted Him to be born into. He could have been born to a wealthy family instead of a family of modest means. He could have been born in a palace in Jerusalem instead of a small village of little significance.

He was born in a manger (Luke 2:4-7). Can you imagine a more humble beginning for a King than to be born in a trough used to feed livestock?

Levixone has revealed that his road to stardom began with backing up many artists. He outlines several defining moments of his career like moving past fright that no one will ever appreciate his music.

“I started music as a back up artist, backing up my brother Mac Elvis (rip). He introduced me to the stage with the likes of Crystal Fabulous who is a father in my life.” He says. “Backing up many artists, I never believed in myself because I had fear.”

Levixone, 24, recently shared on social media where he opened up about his humble beginnings.

“I took my song on one radio station and when these guys listened to it, they told me; your music is not our standard. They said I should go try out somewhere else where they can play fake music, but not their station.” He recalled.

“When I went back, I told my fathers Crystal and Mac Elvis that I will never go back to a radio station, I’m not radio material.” He revealed. “Crystal told me when your time comes nobody will ever stand your way don’t loss hope my son.”

The Award-winning music star has been nominated as East and Central Africa Artist of the year by the Groove Awards 2017.

This nomination follows several accolades received since this year begun including that by Kenya’s Xtreem Awards.

“Never underestimate humble beginnings. I bless Jesus that now I’m nominated…” He says.
