Renown Christian artistes, Levixone and Coopy Bly have been nominated for the African Gospel Music and Media Awards (AGMMA) based in London, United Kingdom.
The two Ugandan stars were on April 15 listed under the category of ‘HipHop/Afropop Artiste of Excellence.’
The same competitive category includes Zambia’s Pompi, Nigeria’s TB1, Limoblaze, Gaise, Charlz Dogo, Kenya’s Eko Dydda, Ghana’s Kingzkid, Preachers among others.
The Awards are a premier gospel event that recognizes and rewards the immense gospel talent that exists within the African gospel music and Christian media fraternity.
Produced by 1615 Media, a UK based Christian Media and Events Company with international affiliations in the media and music industry, the awards also seek to unearth, encourage, motivate and inspire musicians and media outfits to attain excellence in their ministries and businesses, and to be of better service to the kingdom.
Nominated for the second time as Africa’s Blog Of Excellence, Christian blog, Ug Gospel Life took to social media and said, “we thank God, and the AGMMA2018 Academy for this nomination. Special thanks to all those who appreciate what we do.”
In 2017, Power 104.1 Fm’s Phat Fest annual gathering was nominated ‘Event Of The Year.’
The awards gala is slated for 2rd June, 2018 at East London Arts and Music (ELAM) main auditorium in the United Kingdom.
