With 11 albums, his own record label, multiple television shows, accolades and countless production credits for some of the biggest names in gospel music, Franklin further dominated the top gospel categories during the Billboard Music Awards a night ago in Las Vegas.
He won three awards for Top Gospel Artist, Top Gospel Album for his latest release, ‘Losing My Religion’ – 11th studio album released Nov. 13, and Top Gospel Song for “Wanna Be Happy?”
“After 20 years, it’s just humbling to be nominated with so many new, fresh and iconic gospel artists of our time,” said Kirk Franklin. “I thank God for trusting me with music that still speaks to people today.”
